We are a local voluntary organisation that provides help to pregnant women, parents and families in Dundee and the surrounding area.
Our help in available to anyone looking for practical assistance in their role as parent or carer of a baby or child. We stand by the Catholic Church’s teaching that every human life has intrinsic value and is deserving of equal love and protection. With that belief at the core of our work, we aim to provide help that will facilitate the important role of parenthood. We are focused on providing support for parents of babies, and will also support parents with children at all stages of development where we can.
We sort through all donations to ensure that everything we give out is good quality and clean. Items are checked for stains and wear and tear. Equipment is stripped, cleaned, and checked before distribution.
DPAPS offers companionship and an open-door policy for those looking for help. We respect privacy - we don’t ask for personal or financial information. We’re happy for folks to access our help when it's needed and welcome return visits.
Our support services are accessible to all. Contact us via phone, Facebook, WhatsApp, email or the contact form on our website. We require minimal personal information for referrals and aim to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours. We ask that items are collected from our premises but please let us know if this is a barrier to accessing our help. We have good links with other local organisations and where we can’t help, will signpost to others who can.

If you would like to donate baby clothes, equipment or other items then please contact us. We are open for donations on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (check facebook for updates). We also have a donations bin to the right of the building. Donations can be left there whenever the main gates are open.
The DPAPS team is made up solely of volunteers. If you would like to come and help, please get in touch. We need people to sort through donations and help with washing and cleaning clothes and equipment. This can be done at our premises or in your own home.
